Just wanted to update everyone on camp, we have added 3 more spots on our camp to make it 8 total participants who will be separated into two groups of 4. Each group has a separate instructor and class. We chose groups of 4 rather than 5 because this is the only way we could safely transport students in one van and keep everyone separated from each other. All equipment and seats are regularly disinfected.
Masks are mandatory at all times except during lunch at which time we all separate from each other. Anyone breaking these safety guidelines will have one warning and then it will be 100 push ups if the issue persists, keep in mind if the pushups are dont correctly we add more. Help us out and be sure to pack an extra mask or two, a lot of kids complain that their mask does not fit correctly and making kids do pushups takes a lot of time out of our day. Also be sure to pack hand sanitizer, big lunch, snacks, lots of water, and a change if clothes on Tuesday and Thursday as those days we play in the water.
We are also banning all swimming. We will not be participating in any activity that requires students to take their masks off besides eating as they have proven themselves unable to socially distance from their friends or strangers.
